Who we are
gigsplit.co.uk is run by J. Chisholm, a sole trader trading as gigsplit. Email: support@gigsplit.co.uk.
Complaints: email support@gigsplit.co.uk. We'll reply within 5 working days.
What the service does
It reads the earnings statements and tax summaries you upload from delivery and driving apps, checks the figures on each, and adds them up by app, quarter, year to date and tax year. It doesn't say which figure is your turnover or what you can deduct, and doesn't send anything to HMRC.
It isn't tax, accounting or legal advice. You're responsible for checking what it produces before you rely on it or send it to anyone.
Prices and credits
You get your first 4 statements free (per internet connection, every 30 days, subject to a daily limit). After that you buy credits: £6.99 for 60 statements. A credit is only used when a read succeeds. Credits don't expire, and if we ever close gigsplit, we'll refund unused credits. They're linked to the private credit link shown after you pay. Keep it safe: anyone with the link can use the credits. If you lose it, email us with your payment receipt and we'll restore them.
Your right to cancel, and refunds
You normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. Credits are ready to use as soon as you pay, so at checkout you ask for them straight away and acknowledge that this ends your 14-day right to cancel. Your receipt confirms this.
We go further than the law: you can ask for a refund of any unused credits at any time, at the price you paid per credit for that pack (for example, 20 unused credits from a pack of 60 bought for £6.99 are refunded as £2.33). If something wasn't read properly, tell us and we'll put the credit back.
Our responsibility
The tool can make mistakes, which is why it shows you what it read and flags the problems it can find. It can't catch everything, so please check everything against your documents before you use it.
If something isn't read properly or the service isn't as described, you can have it read again, have the credit put back, or get a refund for it.
We're responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable when you used the service.
We don't exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to services and digital content that are as described, of satisfactory quality and provided with reasonable care and skill.
Changes and availability
This is an early service. We may change it, or these terms, and will say so on this page. We try to keep it running but can't promise it will always be available.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
